Dog the bounty hunter death in the new Tomb Raider game

A few days ago, a couple of videos popped up on Youtube of Lara Croft in the new Tomb Raider, being hunted and then slaughtered. As a big fan of Tomb Raider, I was intrigued by the videos and decided to dig deeper and figure out more about what happened.

The two videos show what appears to be Lara Croft in a jungle, fighting with some men and then getting captured by some other men. She is then taken to a nearby tent and is chained up, with the man in the video explaining that she's part of the group who have taken the girl they are after (the video I saw is called "Tomb Raider: Legend – Part 1"). He says that they have tracked her across the Amazon, and are now taking her to an outpost and handing her over. He says that the girl's captors will probably just kill her and the video ends.

So, what really happened in the Tomb Raider video?

Well, it turns out the guy in the videos was an actor hired by Crystal Dynamics to make the video. He apparently got his instructions and the actor who played him in the video came from the same agency. He was told to make it look like the game wasn't going to be very pleasant for Lara. There was a small bit of blood on the actor, as he was in character as a man who had been attacked by Lara, and in the video he is seen being hit and bitten by Lara.

The next day, the Tomb Raider community was full of outrage over the actor playing Lara being murdered, but it was soon revealed that the actor who played the attacker had no idea what was going to happen to him, as they had told him in advance that he would be killed off by Lara. He was paid to be hit and bitten by Lara in the scene. The rest of the story, however, is real.

It's real. I'm not saying the events in the video are entirely untrue, but the part about the actor getting shot and bitten is not real. They never had any intention of having the guy die in the video, so they made sure that that part of the video was fake. The part where he is tied up and the guy explains that they are going to kill her is also not real, as the actress who played Lara is actually fine. Her only injuries were a scratch on her hand, and that was done for the video.

This video isn't some terrible marketing ploy on Crystal Dynamics' part. This guy was just an actor who had no idea what he was signing up for. He just thought it was another acting job. I'm not sure why the media are so quick to call it a terrible attempt at making the game more violent, when this was just an unfortunate accident. It's a terrible coincidence, and in my opinion, it shouldn't detract from the game at all.

I'm looking forward to the game and, like the rest of you, I can't wait to see what Lara Croft and her adventures are like in the new game. I can't wait to see what they've done with the franchise since she first made her debut back in 1996.

Tomb Raider is my favorite video game franchise, and I think that the next game will make that clear, and I'm glad to hear that the developers are doing right by the franchise.

Exactly. This was a stunt that never was planned by the developers. It's a sad, sad accident that someone actually got killed in the process.

I wish I could just go back to 1996 when it came out. I would have played every Lara game on the PS1. I'd like to see a new game, but it seems like they have moved on with new characters and new technology.

They really should have stuck with Lara though. She is a badass in my book, even if the game is getting a bit old. I don't care for this new direction of the franchise either, but it was probably inevitable. They would have been left with a pretty bad taste in their mouths if they had kept on with what Lara was doing in the beginning.

I have watched the whole thing, and am totally amazed that anyone has been able to pull it off and that the player has not been able to spot it.

The video is a clever piece of marketing and should be celebrated for what it is.

The problem is that the player thinks it is real when in reality it is not.

I'm not denying that it was a clever piece of marketing. It's not even the first time a game company has tried to manipulate the media by putting out a video like this. The only problem with this particular one is that it is the first time I can remember where the "player" has actually
