Dog breeders in wny

Welcome to the forum! We are all looking for info and pictures on the various breeds. So welcome and please come back for help, advice and pictures of your pups. Remember we are all volunteers and if we can help then we will.

Hello, my name is Mike and I have a 9 month old black and white female with a white belly that I'm looking for a breeder in the WNY area for. She's not a show dog and is just here to play around. Her name is Dandelion. If anyone has any info or know where I can find one let me know. Thanks.

I live in Buffalo and am just beginning to breed from purebred dogs. As a long time rescue and shelter I have decided that I want to see if I can make a living out of breeding. I don't have a website yet but will set one up once I have a few pups of a decent quality.

I have always wanted to try out a Doberman, but for the most part my dogs are mixes. I am looking for a Doberman with some of my own blood in the mix, so that I can cross it with my other dogs and hopefully get a good bloodline out of it. I was wondering if anyone has a good litter for sale and how much you think they would be worth. Any information on Dobermans in general would be great, but any help on the puppies would be great. I would be happy to offer some blood. My address is in WNY.

Mike, the Doberman I had a friend that would pay me to breed was black and white. As far as the price of the litter, you'll have to work that out with her. But I would say at least $1,500 would be an average price for her. Just my thoughts, but worth every penny.

I have been interested in breeding for over 5 years now. I just got a Doberman puppy a week ago from one of the top show breeders in the country. He was not a show puppy but has had a good work ethic and has good temperment. I will be breeding this male to my Doberman bitch in the future and hopefully we can help other people in this forum breed their best dogs.

My Doberman mix is 7 weeks old now. I'm a stay at home Mom and love to be with him. He gets along with other dogs great, I have one cat he would do great with but my cats don't get along with the Doberman. I also have a 2 year old cockapoo he can play with too.

I have been breeding for 4 years now. I had a litter about a month ago. It was my first litter and it was so much fun. It was great experience. Now that I have experience breeding I will be trying to sell more litters soon.

Hi, I am a first time breeder, I have a dba. We have a puppy and we were not planning on buying her, but then I was out of town for a month and the breeder who I purchased her from was no longer able to raise her. When I got home and went to check on her, she was gone. It was the end of the day and I thought she went back to her breeder and left her there, but I guess I didn't know what I was doing and I never knew to call the breeder to check on her. I was a little worried and started to feel bad about what I had done but I could not find her so I just kept her and she stayed in the house. It was so frustrating to come home and see her like that, and it was so cold, and I knew she needed some attention, but my husband and I just didn't have the time to raise her and get her ready to enter shows. I have been looking at her every day since that time and the breeder I purchased her from has contacted me and said she would be willing to buy her back, but I am still not sure if that is really a good idea. Do you have any advice?

We love our little girl. She has a great disposition, a nice coat, a sweet personality. She was the only dog in her litter to be accepted in shows, and she had 2 champion bloodlines (by the breeder and also a very good friend of hers) She was our only girl. I am now worried I may not be able to get her back, as the breeder does not want to part with her, and she is a bit of a favorite. The breeder has said she will be willing to buy her back for $800, and I am thinking of paying it for her, then the breeder and I both get a little bit of satisfaction out of having her as a puppy again, but I still feel a bit of guilt about the breeder having to part with her, and I know it is not really her fault, I just don't want to have to pay for her for all the years to come if I sell her back and she does not turn out to be the dog we hoped.

Do you have any suggestions on how to make this work?

I have started a facebook page for the dba. You are welcome to become a member and see all the pictures. I am hoping to have her up for adoption in the spring.
