Leave dog alone with coneys

I'm no dog person, but I was reading some articles and a lot of them talked about letting their dog play with the coneys. Now, before you go running off and start looking up information on why dogs should be alone or how dogs are dangerous, stop and think about this. A puppy is an easy target for an adult dog, he can't move fast and easily be trapped. Most dogs want to play nice and you are lucky enough to have someone you trust to keep your pup from getting hurt. Why risk it, just go outside and watch from afar.

My brother got into a dog fight because of some dog shit on his car. Two different dogs went for his car and he was trying to pull them off, so he was able to grab a coney pup that was under the car and saved it. He said the dogs were going to eat the pup, so he took it to the vet and the vet said to keep it alive but take care of it.

The way you handle them is what matters.

I do not wish to have my dogs be prey in any way. I would hate for them to end up dead and suffer on my account.

You probably just want your dog to get a home with a family that doesn't abuse dogs.

Sounds like the dog fight was more likely just because they didn't like your brother's music or he got in their territory.

That's what happened with our family dogs. We have a family of five (three dogs and two children), one family dog was attacked by another. The family dog grabbed the attacking dog around the neck, the attacking dog went for his mouth, and the family dog put his head under his neck and squeezed. The attacking dog broke free and ran away. In our case the attacking dog was killed, which made me sad because he was a very sweet dog. After I found out the attack was caused by the other dog getting out of his kennel, I knew it was going to happen again. I had seen this behavior before and was just waiting for the family dog to get out of his kennel again.

So it was a family decision to euthanize the attacking dog. It was the only thing we could do. I couldn't imagine not being able to go to the hospital and see the suffering of a dog with my own eyes. If you are afraid of seeing a dog be tortured in front of your eyes, you just have to put your fear aside and do what you know is right. If you are right, everything will work out.

So my advice is don't worry. If your family dog did bite, don't go looking for excuses.

If you are having a dog fight, and one dog is badly hurt or sick and dying, that's the end of the fight. You should probably get another dog to take over the territory so he won't attack your brother's dog, and there is no problem with the dogs, even if you know the one who is attacking is going to die.

So the two dogs you have been fighting are not going to attack each other. You can have a dog fight and still save both dogs. They are not going to kill each other.

If you have any of these signs:

You are walking your dog and there is a fight in another neighbor's yard.

You come home to see a fight in your own yard.

You get to your yard and find your dog is badly hurt or sick, and the other dog is dead.

You get a dead or badly hurt dog from a neighbor's yard and there is no sign of the fight in your yard.

Don't blame the people with the problem or be afraid to report them to the police. Don't let the people win. Take action now.

Don't get into trouble. Remember the other thing your mom told you. Just because you are "bad" doesn't mean you have to go to jail.

If you have to get a new dog, buy the kind you can tell that they don't fight, and you are not going to buy another one that has shown bad behavior. Don't buy an AKC registered "pet shop" dog. If you have to do that, buy the kind that you have to buy after seeing it fight in person.

If you are thinking of getting a dog, find out if it has been aggressive to another dog or has killed another dog.

How to find out if your dog is aggressive

If you are going to keep it, you need to know what kind of a dog it is, so you don't accidentally buy a dog who you find out the next week is just like one you had two years ago. It is better to find out now.

If you are buying a pet store or breed that you can see fighting other dogs in person, find out. Ask the sales person if they have seen any fighting. You don't have to believe them, but if they say no, there is a good chance they are telling you the truth.

If the dog fights, find out if the owners are
