The South Bay Dog Park in Chula Vista is a small city park located on the north side of State Route 73, just east of MCDOWLING Boulevard.
There is also a park with an enclosed dog park near the San Diego rport, called rpark Town Center. There is another small dog park, located in a neighborhood in the Chula Vista East area, near City Hall and the mn campus of the University of California, San Diego, called "Campo De San Diego."

There are two dog parks on the south side of San Diego State University (SDSU). Both parks are located in the parking lot of "The Field House", a sports and recreation building on campus.

The district has been planning this project for at least 10 years and has made several modifications to the design over time.
The system will be an underground pipe for most of the distance, meaning it will not have leaks.
The project is also scheduled to be completed by the end of 2013, according to the district, making it one of the larger pipe projects that they have ever been a part of.
