We reserve the right to approve or deny any application we choose. In the interest of safety and health, we will take into consideration any past or current medical issues, temperament and any physical or emotional characteristics before we make a final decision.

All dogs and puppies in our care will receive the same loving care as the dogs that we have cared for in the past. You can be confident that your puppy will be adopted with a loving, permanent home.

We accept only dogs and puppies over the age of eight weeks. If you would like to have your puppy evaluated or get additional information on him, please eml us. We ask that all puppies be spayed or neutered prior to being placed in our care, and that their vaccination history be up to date prior to placement.

The adoption fee is $200.

We require that the home or apartment in which your puppy is living be up to USDA standards. This will take about three to four months. If you cannot give us this assurance, you will not be considered for placement.

We encourage you to visit our facility and adopt a dog in person before making a final decision. You will get a better feel for the dogs avlable for adoption and their personalities. There is nothing like meeting your dog for the first time face to face!

We do our best to mntn our dogs' and puppies' hygiene and keep their living areas as clean as possible. We work hard to keep our kennel areas dry and bright. We keep our dogs' coats clipped short, and we keep their nls trimmed regularly. We wash all dogs thoroughly upon arrival to our facility.

Adoption Fees &, Shipping

$200

We charge a $200 adoption fee and require that the adoptive home be able to accept the following USDA requirements:

The adoptive home must be up to the USDA standards for housing animals. The home must be mntned in a clean and sanitary manner. Pets are not to be left in a house with dirty floors, bedding or toys and the home must be protected from fleas and rodents. The pet must be able to live safely with other pets.

We have a professional staff that will take a detled inventory of your home for our own record keeping, and a cleaning service that comes monthly to the rescue.

How to Adopt Your Future Dog, Puppy

Once your initial meeting with a dog at the shelter has been scheduled, follow-up dates must be arranged to assess if you are still interested. During the course of the next several weeks, you will receive letters and emls asking you to keep an appointment. At the time of the appointment you will complete the necessary forms, meet the dog you are interested in and have the option to adopt a dog or puppy. During the adoption process, you will be given an opportunity to discuss your concerns and ask questions about your dog. We will provide you with photos, a copy of your dog's health certificate and a copy of the veterinarian's exam. You will also be able to view our animal records and ask any questions you may have about the
