Sand cats are smaller than normal wild and also as domestic cats. When fully grown, they weigh between 1500 and 3500 grams. The nocturnal animals live solitary and can do little with the desert heat - that's why they sleep in caves or in shady places during the day and only go on tour at night.
They have a thick skin that protects them wonderfully from the cold at night. And even if they're wild - they're cute, aren't they?
