Puddles and smelly stains can be frustrating if your pooch can't -- or won't -- let you know when he needs to go. With a little practice, you'll soon learn to recognize these clues.
Get the Hint
Some of the telltale signs that your dog may need to urinate include wining, circling and sniffing the ground. Take heed if she suddenly heads for the corner, ducks behind the sofa or hangs out by the door. If she begins to squat, or he starts to lift a leg, you probably only have seconds to react before it's too late. Interrupt her quickly if so and take her outside or to her designated spot indoors to finish.
